Nancy L. Penrose is an award-winning writer whose essays have been published in literary magazines that include Catamaran, Shenandoah, Orange Blossom Review; The Ekphrastic Review; Passager, The Turning Leaf, and the collections of Travelers’ Tales. She is the coauthor, with Angela Gregory, of A Dream and a Chisel: Louisiana Sculptor Angela Gregory in Paris, 1925-1928, published in 2019 by the University of South Carolina Press. When she lived in Singapore, she co-authored, with Khoo Seow Hwa, Behind the Brushstrokes: Appreciating Chinese Calligraphy, published in 1999 by ASIA 2000.
